Traveling through music.

I haven't wrote in this space for quite a while, so I thought I would break the gap between the last time and now.

I've been wandering through the land of music, drifting from one song to another like a explorer through the cities. I was thinking to myself how people experience music and their views on it, what were their traits in it and related to it.

I find myself to be a drifter, I drift from one band to another, my favourites tend to change. I like one band to lead me to another, but I don't like all my music to be the same. I've noticed that I can't listen to the same type/genre of music for a long period of time, I need something to break up the momentum.

This led me to wonder about those who stay in a rut of music, I know of some people who will stick with the same bands without changing, even the bands they listen to are painfully similar, I myself wouldn't be able to tell them apart from each other on a mixed CD. That in itself would bore me. I like definition in a band, so when you hear them you know who they are, even have something connected to them, a memory or otherwise.

Anyway, I'm going to wrap this up before I ramble myself off the page.

Life is what we make it.

"Life is what we make it, So can I have a fairytale?"

What if life could be a fairytale? A castle, a hero, a happy ending. Sounds good on paper, but I think it would be boring in the end. I am not a fan of happy endings, not sure why, I guess because they are expected and people expect them, only to be disappionted.

Happiness lies in moments. You hang onto each moment, as if you will not be given another. Hold on, like it was the last breath you could take before sinking back into the depth once more. When lost in this depth, it is those moments you grasp onto, the only light you have in the darkness, something worth fighting for.

So stop, and think. What have you done? Without knowing it, you may have given one of these moments to someone, saving them from their own demons. They may wish to thank you, but do not know how they can.

Take a moment, a single moment and do something for another. It can be the smallest thing. A smile, a hug, a helping hand, Anything.

Show them they are worth a moment of your time, it might just mean the world to them.
